    <li>Quiz on Thursday on the Numbers reading and base changes.</li>
    <li>The first assignement is due tomorrow.  I have graded all
    of the assignments I can grade. If you don't have a grade, 
    do a re-submit with your file.  Remember, you can submit
    a .txt, .jpeg, .jpg or a .png file.</li>

<h2>Dirty Hands Time</h2>

<p>Before we really get into Python strings, I want you to play
with doing calculations in the interactive prompt.  </p>


<p>On the specs page, there is a new assignment on scientific
calculation.  I do add a twist here: you will need to produce
some HTML, but there is shell code and it will be quite easy
to produce what you need. Put questions into chat and I can answer
them on this page.</p>
