Project Proposal - Pygame Arcade:

Using pygames to create a multitude of games in python. This can be used in conjunction with HTML and CSS to create a webpage in which each game will provide something akin to a code after beating it, such that at the end, the correct code will provide a prize. This will implement and combine the ideas of an arcade and treasure hunt into one project. In order to understand how to use pygames, we will be building programs for some simpler games, as well as making more games of our more unique code once we have developed a better understanding.

Some games proposed to be included in the arcade are:

Beginner

• Hangman
• Snake and apple game
• Tic-tac-toe
• Trivia
• Rock paper scissors
• Card-matching memory game

More complex

• Mini RPG

Questions:

• How to ensure that we don’t take too much of the source code and make it more unique while still learning how to use it and staying true to the original idea?
• How complex should the game be? How long should the program be?
