Class Schedule iCal Generator

Enter the name of a class or recurring meeting (as you wish for it to appear in your Google Calendar) in each text box for a class/ meeting that meets during that block. (Leave a box blank if you don't meet a class during that block.) For lab-blocks, check the appropriate checkbox if the class uses the lab block; leave it unchecked if it doesn't. When you're done, click the button at the bottom and save the .ics file it downloads. Then import that .ics file to your google calendar.

Currently configured for Spring 2024.

Handles holidays, breaks, no-class days, and altered schedules correctly.

Warning: In order to handle altered schedules, etc. correctly, this script creates separate events for every class meeting (i.e. does not create "recurring" events). Thus, if you "change your mind," there will be a lot of events to modify/ delete. Suggestion: create a new "dummy" Google Calendar first, then import the .ics file to that calendar. Preview in your Google Calendar to make sure it looks ok. Then delete the "dummy" calendar, and re-import the .ics file to your "main" calendar if all looks ok. More detailed instructions for this process can be found here.
