Swing Version These are the Swing Version chapters. As you know we are moving to JavaFX.

• 25 Mar 2016, Chapter 5 This introduces interfaces, inheritance and GUIs. It covers the use of Java 8 lambdas in event handling. This new version stamps out an array of minor typos. Page formatting shiften only in very small ways.
• 10 May 2013, The Complete Tricolor Case Study is explained in detail. The 5/10/13 version has syntax coloring and 7 new figures.
• 8 Jan 2013, Chapter 7 Look at the Tricolor case study with inner classes! This part of the chapter is completely redone. Your comments are welcome. This chapter explains how to use inner and anonymous classes on GUIs. These can shorten and simplify your code.
